Farewell Elastic Press

Elastic Press have won five awards and on the whole positive reviews for all 31 titles published as well as achieving bookstore distribution and some very memorable book launches. Those awards are:-

• 2005 British Fantasy Society Award for Best Small Press
• 2005 British Fantasy Society Award for Best Anthology – “The Alsiso Project”
• 2006 British Fantasy Society Award for Best Anthology – “The Elastic Book of Numbers”
• 2007 British Fantasy Society Award for Best Anthology – “Extended Play”
• 2008 East Anglian Book Award won by “Other Voices” by Andrew Humphrey (published by Elastic Press).

Andrew Hook is taking time out for his own writing as Elastic Press was becoming more of a burden than a pleasure as well as continuing with his editing role at New Horizons. However, he will be selling stock during 2009, particularly at Redemption, EasterCon and probably Alt.Fiction. All royalties due to existing authors will be paid and Elastic Press will be wound down as existing stock is sold.

As a special offer, a free copy of “Extended Play” will be sent with all UK orders, so do check out Elastic Press’s website and order list now. “Extended Play” comes highly recommended!
